Club Meeting – August 22nd, 2013
Fellow Rotarian Lt. Col. Pat Green, U.S. Army Retired, spoke to us about Southwest Virginia’s first veteran’s cemetery dedicated in May of 2011. Pat Green was “one of the driving forces behind the cemetery” (Roanoke Times) and enlisted the aid from politicians from both sides of the aisle to bring the project to a successful end.
