Fitness Consultant Mark Hammer provided some good advice for all Rotarians who made a New Years’ Resolution to lose weight or get in better shape. Mark suggested that setting canada goose outlet online a goal, such as running in a 5K race, will help achieve such resolutions by providing a target date to reach the goal. Mark also shared with us his experience with the Break Out of Diabetes 2012 Challenge. Every week since January, Mark ran one more mile than the week before. Week one, he ran one mile. Week two, he ran two miles — adding another each week for 52 weeks, all to raise awareness about diabetes and the importance shotgunsbc.ca of exercise to good health. He completed a 52 mile run on the last Sunday of 2012.
