Club Meeting – March 3rd, 2016
Liz Belcher, Greenways Coordinator, provided us an update on our “Roanoke Valley Greenways“. Ms. belcher provided the latest on new pathways and plans for expansion in the near future. After experiencing Ms. Belcher in action, there is little doubt why this Roanoke Valley asset has had ongoing success since her becoming Greenways Coordinator in 1996. Her enthusiasm and energy in discussing something for which she truly cares makes one want to hit the trail and enjoy our valley’s beauty. One thing to remember is that pedestrians have the right of way.
