Jim Sweetwood, Tournament Coordinator for the Greenbrier Classic golf tournament, spoke with the Club regarding the growth of the Greenbrier Classic. Entering its 4th year, the Greenbrier Classic is a PGA Tour, FedEx Cup event. Jim shared with us breaking news that the legendary rock band Aerosmith will be performing at a concert in conjunction with the tournament. Also performing will be country music superstar Kenny Chesney. Jim explained that PGA tour professionals have until the week prior to the event to register so he could not tell us which golfers have committed to play in the tournament.
