Press Release – Dedication of the first “Little Free Library”…

The public is welcome to join the Rotary Club of Salem on Wednesday, October 26 at 10 am for the dedication of the first of several “Little Free Libraries.”  These sturdy cabinets will be filled with books for all ages and interests. They will be placed on the Greenway and elementary school playgrounds in Salem, as well as in neighborhood parks. Readers are welcome to take books with them and return them, or to trade them for other books, all on the honor system. Each cabinet has a clear door for weather protection and can hold small to large books.

The dedication will be held at Salem Rotary Park (Rt. 419 and Apperson Drive).  Citizens are welcome to bring books to donate to the Little Free Libraries and to learn more about the new project.
