Club Meeting – Feb. 28th

Our program today was Mike “Keno” Snyder owner of the Parkway Brewing Company in Salem VA.  Mike provided some history of the craft brewing movement and its tremendous growth in the U.S. over the past 15 years.  We learned of the difference between the two main types of beer: lagers and ales, and the finer aspects of brewing “tastes” to Parkway Brewing’s focus on ales.  The meeting ended with some sampling of Parkway’s newest ale…  In the end, it all has something to do with beer saving Man-kind in the past…  Rotary Cheers!
