Club Meeting – July 18th, 2013

Matthew Wade is, Regional Director – Southwestern Region, Department of Veterans Services, of the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program.  He spoke to us today of the services offered to veterans in Virginia Parajumpers women by this Commonwealth initiated program.

A primary focus of the program is to help U.S. military vets with post-duty mental problems, such as PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder).  Their scope of services to our military veterans, however, extends further to finding the appropriate agency and/or assisting with the maze of forms needed to obtain whatever help they may need. parajumpersonline.fr They partner with other local service organizations such as the Military Family Support Center to better the lives of our veterans and their families.
