Club Meeting – April 13th, 2017

Dr. H. Alan Seibert, Superintendent of Salem City Schools was today’s speaker.  Dr. Seibert, a  club member for ten years, was the second of three programs scheduled to bring us up to date on the three K-12 school systems in the Roanoke Valley – Roanoke County (3/30), City of Salem (4/13) and City of Roanoke (4/27).  Our region is fortunate to have such dedicated, capable and creative individuals serving the educational needs of our children.  Each educator shared their commitment to our future generation and the accomplishments attained by the combined efforts of their staffs, parents and community leaders.  Please visit their respective school system websites to learn about their student’s accomplishments and about how you might be of service to the youth of your communities. Other than Dr. Seibert, there are several Rotary Club of Salem members who have been or are currently involved with the City of Salem Schools.  We thank them for investing their talents and time in our future.
